PHASE 0 - PRE-CONCEPTION
Understanding client needs & constraints
Initial meetings with the client & on-site visit: Discovery of the project and creation of the design brief based on the client's needs (use-case scenario and site-specific constraints).
Analysis of spatial constraints, key architectural elements, and any other factors that may impact sound behavior.
Definition of required equipment and identification of various audio sources according to the desired listening experience.
DELIVERABLES: Briefing summary, moodboards, benchmark, initial sketches.
PHASE 1 - CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Exploration of design directions and generation of creative concepts
Collaborative work sessions between acoustic engineers and designers to explore multiple directions for the project (2 to 3 proposals).
Presentation of the different concepts, including sketches, drawings, early 3D models, material samples, and reference images.
Consultation and dialogue between the acousticians and the project's architects regarding choices of furniture, carpets, layouts and/or other interior elements, to ensure the best possible acoustic performance of the space.
DELIVERABLES: Concept sketches, design variations, initial 3D models, material choices.
PHASE 2 - DESIGN REFINEMENT
Refinement of selected concept, functional and aesthetic detailing
Further development of the selected direction, including research and validation of final elements and details.
Precise costing of speaker manufacturing and components, with adjustments to the quotation if necessary.
3D design, modeling, and rendering of the final concept.
Sourcing of additional equipment aligned with the project's artistic direction (e.g. vinyl turntable).
Liaison with other brands regarding select products for exclusive designs or custom collaborations.
DELIVERABLES: High-fidelity 3D renders & detailed visuals.
PHASE 3 - FINAL DESIGN QUOTATION PRODUCTION
Finalization of design for manufacturing
Precise design of each speaker component and detailed modeling for CNC machining.
Preparation of technical files and exports according to manufacturer constraints.
Ordering of materials and components required for production.
Manual finishing of individual parts.
DELIVERABLES: Production-ready 3D files (CAD), technical drawings, material & finish specifications.
PHASE 4 - PRODUCTION PREPARATION & SUPPORT
Technical support during the transition to manufacturing, coordination with fabricators
Hand assembly of all components in the workshop.
Monitoring of finishes, including site visits to fabrication workshops.
Soldering of electronic components, fabrication and soldering of audio cables, mounting of amplifiers, and installation of drivers into speaker enclosures.
Initial verification tests and first acoustic measurements conducted in the workshop, followed by final adjustments and finish detailing.
Hand signature and numbering of the speakers by Matéo Garcia. Preparation of the speakers for transport, in view of the upcoming calibration stage.
DELIVERABLES: Support during prototyping and pre-series validation.
PHASE 5 - DELIVERY & INSTALLATION SUPPORT
Assistance during final product delivery, installation, and client handover
Transfer of the speakers from the measurement room back to the workshop for final preparation prior to delivery, including transport protection and logistics coordination.
Delivery to the client: transportation and handling up to the final location within the client’s space. Installation and positioning within the apartment.
Final setup, including cable routing, connection of all devices, and equipment configuration.
Sound tuning and final equalization, carried out in the client’s presence, with adjustments made according to their acoustic preferences and listening habits.
DELIVERABLES: Installation guidelines, care & maintenance documentation, final presentation assets, support during on-site setup.
